Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund of St Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church in Cupertino, CA was established in 2005 with $5,000 from 14 members (who automatically became charter members of St. Jude’s Legacy Society).  It truly is an example of “the gift that keeps on giving”, since the principal (either money given now or via a bequest which kicks in at death) is invested, and only the earnings will be made available to accomplish the future dreams of the parish. This is truly the gift that will keep on giving in perpetuity!

Since the fund is not very old, growing the fund is our focus. Leaving some of your accumulated wealth to St. Jude’s in your will/trust/life insurance is not the only way to leave a legacy to the church you love. In concert with the ECF (Episcopal Church foundation), we offer investment plans that will minimize your taxes and provide income while you are still alive.

Do you have accumulated wealth beyond what your family needs? Do you love your church as you love your family? Would you like more information on how to  sustain St. Jude’s in perpetuity? If so, pick up a brochure in the Parish Hall, talk with Jim Reyner, another member of the Planned Giving Committee, or Wilma, or inquire at the parish office.

St. Jude’s Planned Giving Committee has the responsibility for promoting the endowment fund. For more information on the operation of this committee, see Planned Giving.

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here.
