“…While we might have hundreds of Facebook friend, our true close friends are decreasing. Perhaps most concerning of all, one in ten people said they have no close friendships at all” Sociologist Lynn Smith-Lovin (The Book of Joy, 125). In this forum, Sarah+ will introduce and facilitate exploration of the obstacles to joy — Loneliness, Envy, and Grief — in general and specific to Silicon Valley. This session will be hopefully disarming, grace-filled, and engaging!
