Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SMUM) Wish List
While you are out and about this summer, or buying your own back-to school supplies, please keep in mind the needs of the children served by SMUM (Santa Maria Urban Ministry) and pick up some of these items to be brought to church by August 10.
- Clothing for boys and girls - all sizes
- Socks, stockings
- Light jackets - especially large
- Backpacks - no red, blue, or light blue
- Paper - lined, college rule
- Pens - blue, black ink
- Pencils
- Color markers - 10 pack, water-based, not permanent (NO sharpies!)
- Crayons - 24 pack
- Folders - two-pocket type, 4 - 6 pack (NO red, blue, or light blue)
- Glue sticks
- Calculators
- Scissors
- Erasers
- Notebooks/binders - NO red, blue or light blue
- Spiral notepads - NO red, blue, or light blue
- Cash - any amount
It is so important that all children are able
to begin school on an equal footing,
and supplies and clothes are such a help.
