Worship Ministries

We gather regularly to worship together. The following ministries create and support our worship.

Online Worship Ministries

Musicians provide organ music from the sanctuary, and guest musicians from our parish sing or perform remotely. Music is important in our worship.

Tech Hosts livestream and provide tech support for the services, including sharing music and videos.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) read Scripture, and/or lead the Prayers of the People in worship.

Readers read Bible passages during worship.

Altar Guild and Flower Guild prepare the Altar and flowers in the sanctuary for livestreamed worship and special services.

Hospitality Hosts extend a great welcome to everyone by name joining for worship and read our celebrations and prayer requests during the service.

Sound System Volunteers run our sanctuary sound and video camera.

Greeters give a welcome to everyone in our Facebook Group and note who is joining us in our services.

Communion Bread Bakers of all ages bake the bread that Aaron virtually “shares” during the Eucharist.

Adult Choir: Music is important in our worship. Our Adult Choir is currently meeting online for practice, and new choir members and musicians are very welcome.

We’d love to have you join us in our ministries!

Outdoor Worship Ministries

Musicians: Music is important in our worship. During our outdoor worship, music is played live by some of our very talented parishioner musicians.

Sound System Volunteers ensure all are able to hear our outdoor worship (including those with hearing aids when we are able to have indoor worship again).

Communion Bread Bakers of all ages bake the bread for clergy to virtually “share” during the Eucharist. When we are able to have full indoor in-person services again, communion bread will be available to all and gluten-free wafers will also be offered.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) support clergy in serving at the Altar, reading Scripture, and/or leading the Prayers of the People in worship.

Greeters and Ushers extend a great welcome (safely distanced) to everyone joining for outdoor worship and ensure that our safe distancing protocols are in place for outdoor services.

The Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs) call our shut-ins weekly and will be taking the Eucharist to them when communion resumes.

Readers read Bible passages during worship.

Acolytes are Adults and teens who help clergy during  Sunday worship and seasonal worship.
